  7. The requirements are:

  9. -- 16-18 HCP, balanced hand, 4-3-3-3 distribution
  10.  
  11. -- No biddable major suit (Q10xx or better)

  13. -- Strength in the unbid suits
  14.  
  15. To ask for aces after the 3NT response, opener bids the lowest
  16. unbid suit other than clubs (see SUPER GERBER in the book "Strong
  17. Bidding"):

  33. The Omnibus 2NT response is used with 5-3-3-2 and 4-4-3-2 notrump
  34. hands of this strength, when playing that convention. Otherwise,
  35. it is permissible to bid 3NT with these hands too. See chapter
  36. OMNIBUS in the book "Marvin's Conventions and Treatments."

  39.                   When the Opponents Intervene
  40.  
  41. -- When RHO overcalls at the one level, there is no change in the
  42. meaning of responses:
  43.  
  44.                        South  West      North
  45.                        1C     1D/1H/1S  2NT - forcing
  46.                                         3NT - 16-18 HCP
  47.                                         4NT - RKCB
  48.  
  49. With a 19-20 HCP hand, bid 2NT, then 4NT.

  51. -- When an overcall is at the two level, a necessarily non-jump 2NT
  52. response is not forcing, showing 11-12 HCP.
  53.  
  54. If negative doubles are in use, the 3NT bid still shows 16-18 HCP,
  55. but responder's distribution need not be 4-3-3-3. With 13-15 HCP,
  56. double negatively and bid 3NT on the next round. A 4NT response
  57. (not Blackwood after a minor suit opening and a two-level overcall)
  58. shows 19-20 HCP.

  60. If negative doubles are not in use, the single jump 3NT response
  61. shows 13-17 HCP, a 4NT response shows 18-20 HCP.
